Magnetic Separation and Concentration of Biological Sample Components

Magnetic Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles

Stream Bio’s Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles (CPNs™) are powerfully magnetic thanks to their iron oxide core. Coupled with intense fluorescence, our CPNs™ show superior capabilities as tools for separating, concentrating and purifying of materials such as cells, molecules and viruses.

Sample Concentration with CPNs™

CPNs™ can selectively bind and concentrate the intended target, such as SARS-CoV-2 viral particles. This distinct capability allows rapid and accurate analysis of large, dilute samples. This will help to further enhance detection limits in downstream diagnostic tests.

The adjacent diagram outlines how a heavily diluted sample can be separated and detected due to the distinct magnetic properties of our Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles.

Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles (CPNsTM) can selectively bind to analytes or virus particles within a sample such as COVID-19. It can concentrate them using a magnetic field, allowing analysis of large dilute samples with improved detection limits.
